When you come to LumberJack’s, wear something comfortable that allows plenty of movement. You will be throwing axes, after all! Closed-toe shoes are an absolute requirement.

Yes, we do serve alcohol at LumberJack’s Hatchet Throwing.

In the past, we allowed customers to bring their own alcoholic beverages (BYOB). However, to ensure the safety and compliance with local regulations, we have made the decision to no longer allow BYOB.

You’ll be pleased to know that we offer a range of alcoholic beverages for purchase directly at our facility. Our joint business bar, Outta Boundz, is conveniently located within LumberJack’s Hatchet Throwing premises. You can visit Outta Boundz and choose from a variety of beer, wine, spirits, and refreshing cocktails to complement your hatchet throwing experience.

When you book an Axe Throwing session, you’ll get either a 1-hour reservation or a 2-hour reservation. 

Our most common group size is 8. But we can simultaneously accommodate groups of up to 50 people (subject to availability).

You betcha’. When you book a group session, you’ll see in our terms and conditions that if your entire party hasn’t arrived by 15 minutes after your scheduled start time, you’ve gotta forge ahead – or risk us giving away the time slot. This is due to the lengthy waiting list for people to get in and throw out and the community side of the experience.

Here at LumberJack’s, we cater your event to your group. Each of our instructors is scheduled for your event, ready to teach you the joy of axe throwing. For this reason, deposits are non-refundable, and it’s generally – not possible for us to reschedule. But we understand that sometimes things come up. If you need to reschedule your throwing date at your earliest notice of needing to reschedule, send us an email, and we will see what we can do—no promises on this one.

Unfortunately, due to a change in our payment processing systems, we can no longer split the remaining balance of your throwing session. We apologize for the inconvenience! Ask your friends for $40 before the event starts, and leave with cash in your pocket.

It sucks that your friends bailed. We hate it when people leave us holding the bag. But you’ve gotta find some people to replace them, seems like they might not have been your real friends anyway.

Axe throwing is a great sport for anyone and does not rely on the strength or speed of a person. Focus on technique and follow through and with a little practice, you’ll be sticking the axe in no time.

We do have an age limit at LumberJack’s. We don’t want your youngsters getting hurt, so participants are required to be 13 years and older. Participants aged 13-17 are eligible to go axe throwing if accompanied by an adult.

The more the merrier, unless they are weird. Also, the place gets pretty packed. So there will be a $15 dollar fee for all spectators. That’s why we say throw an axe… they won’t regret it.

The whole thing is very safe and structured. Your group is with a highly trained instructor the entire time. We are proud to say that we have more stringent safety measures in place than any other axe throwing club in North America, and that shows in our perfect safety record.

Please don’t. Customers under the influence of alcohol or other substances will not be admitted to the facility and will not receive a refund.

Sorry, amigo. For safety and insurance purposes, you must use our axes. They’re nice and sharp axes.
